INTRODUCTION TO CREATIVE WRITING

 

A class teaching the basics of writing: leading you through the technical points which are needed in the creation of a story.

 

This first course deals with the basics of creating and writing a story. Among the basic topics covered are structure, characterisation, pacing, dialogue and description.

 

Using writing exercises, discussion and workshopping techniques, you will learn the basics you need to write your story. You will also receive advice and hints from a writer with more than thirty years of experience as a professional author.

 

This is a stimulating and enjoyable class which releases all the creativity you have stored inside.

 

Ten-two hour classes hosted at Dundee University in the evening. 

 

We also offer a one day Workshop of the Introduction to Creative Writing. The course is also regularly available online as weekly webinars, running on Sundays.
