RADIO WRITING
A short course covering the discipline of writing creatively for radio.
Radio is one of the more unique and challenging mediums requiring a particular style of storytelling. We will take you through the process of writing and creating a story for radio.
The course will cover both creative and technical points. We will write and workshop ideas, working out glitches and helping avoid the pitfalls, and making yOur radio writing the best it can be.
The course will be led by a writer of more than fifty produced radio plays, who will offer invaluable first hand experience and advice.
We also offer a one day Workshop of the opening weeks of the Radio Writing course, which deal with beginning and developing your script. The course will also regularly available online as weekly webinar.
SIX 2-hour evening classes.

These classes and workshops are tutored by Iain McLaughlin, who has written radio and audio productions since 2000. He has written for audio/radio for Doctor Who, Blake's 7, Sherlock Holmes and won an award for a recent radio play, The Beast of Hyndford.
Other radio authors will also join some of the classes to pass on their experience and knowledge.
