Rondo

Moldovan-born Rondo has had a passion for art since childhood. Comic and pulp artists were always his heroes. He was particularly influenced by the artists resposible for pulp crime covers in the 1940s and 50s. Other influences include his idol, Boris Vallejo and Chris Achilleos.

Now in his late twenties, Rondo is usually based in London but travels as far and as often as he can, usually with a paintbrush in his hand. He veers between watercolours, acrylics and oil paints and enjoys experimenting with them. He occasionally also adds effects on a computer.

Rondo has delivered some delighfully pulp illustrations for the covers of our pulp crime and science fiction titles, and he is working on several new projects for us.

Don't ask Rondo what his real name is... he won't tell you.
